Creatively-Minded Golden-Age Collectors needed inside this thread

I need your suggestions for the best "classic" GA comic book covers (superhero and other) which highlight both a young child and a male (hero?)... I'm particularly interested in DC books, but other publishers (EC, Fawcett, etc) welcome hm

Why? (shrug)

Well,

I'm heading down to the Denver Comic-Con in about 3 weeks - and I'd like to have a few artists do some cover recreations (on modern blanks) of GA covers, but I'd like to make 2 modifications to the cover...

... replace the young child in the cover with my 4 year old daughter, and replace the male figure on the cover with me ...

... and so have some GA cover recreations with my daughter and I on the blank cover...

To anyone who can help with cover suggestions (images/scans much appreciated), I'd be most grateful! (thumbs u

Bat-Man #9 could be cool...I really like the Superman 3 and the TEC 38 idea...you could replace Robin with your daughters name and put Girl Wonder instead of Boy Wonder...that would be sweet!!!

And I know its not Golden age but an iconic female cover has to be Action comics 252...You could put "Supergirl from and insert your hometown" instead of Krypton...Both of you would have similar costumes on which would show the familial thing too...IDK just a thought

You could easily substitute Superman for as the hero on any of these covers.

If you have a pet cat or dog they could be included:

A cool idea Carl. Any particular artists you have in mind that will be attending?

I will be at the show and would like to see what you end up with.

Sure thing! I'll be there all day Sunday - I've got a few artists in mind, because I'm not sure who'll be available and who'll be busy - four that I want to approach, that I remember off the top of my head, are Matt Kindt, Dan Parent, Fiona Staples, and Amy Reeder. (Some would be for other commissions, not the GA ones.) Any suggestions based on the convention's artist list?

I'll be sure to post the finished products after the Comic Con (May 31 - June 2nd)...
