I know others won't agree but signing a ped makes a cold shiver run down my spine.

I think most will agree...

Now if it was a collector who loved the book as his/her own and wanted it signed I'd give a begrudging pass... but its a dealer, who got it signed, trippled the price (vs what he paid for the book in 2011) and has let it sit on ebay.

Ruining a pedigree just to try and milk some more money out of an amazing book (single highest ped)

Also got my copy from Hibou, just last month when he graciously donated 25% of his sales to Fazybones last month. My first SS book!

Double cover! :o

Very nice!!!

I'll post the one I currently have but who knows how long that will be for... lol

It was this:

gl76-1.jpg

Which was then sold to a boardie who had it signed by Adams and O'Neil.

CGC then turned it into this which I recently reacquired in a deal:

Mine's a lowly copy, but it has a neat little story behind it. Won it as a raw copy on ebay for $200. It was sold by the wife of comic writer Martin Pasko, his file copy. A fellow boardie pointed out at the time that Pasko was a prolific letter writer to DC back in the day, which is what led to his becoming an actual comic writer for DC, and that he believed Pasko had an actual letter printed in GL 76. I thought that would be a weird coincidence. Sure enough though, there it was in the back, a letter by Pasko! Ha! (I tried to get CGC to note that on my submission of the book, but they didn't bite. Heh.) Was hoping for a 5.0 - 5.5. Came back a 6.0! :whee:

 How did the outer cover get an 8.5 with the spine creases, what appears to be a light impact ding at the bottom of the spine and all of that bottom right corner wear?
