It's just a 9.6 Crime SuspenStories with the guy carrying a hatchet in one hand and a woman's severed head in the other. The eye popping color would simply detract you from your work. I saved the scan on my computer when Heritage auctioned off the book a few years back. I guess the original poster enhanced the scan a little bit, and the book looks much better in his scan. I don't know if he's the owner or not. On a side note, I was the high bidder on the book and had met Heritage's reserve price, but 2 days before the auction ended, Heritage raised the reserve price. Vault of Horror #39 Definitely one of my favorite covers. I had been looking for a copy of this for a while and finally picked one up.
