N e r V
I never, ever expected to score a Menace #5 and Venus #19 within days of one another. Two Atlas books extremely high on my list to fill. In my opinion they are the two best Everett covers of the 1950's. Also odd when I set out to work on a run of Venus #9 thru 19 I was expecting to start with the lower issues and work my way up as the run gets more difficult at the end. Never thought I'd get the last three and the most difficult issues of the run first and within months of each other. Can't wait to get the #19 to pair up with my #17 and 18. Those 3 books belong together.

Those 3 books belong together. Awesome stuff! I tried to get the Venus run, I came within 2 books of it but never could find / obtain an 18 or a 15. If I found an 18 I was the underbidder. The only 15 I saw for sale was for a ridiculous price for a 4.0. I then switched my focus to a different run, which perhaps was even more challenging? Of all the Venus books I only have the 19 left ( not for sale ). Good luck in your quest.
jimjum12
Venus 15 is TOUGH...... I had a copy once with a little tape ...... the cover is under appreciated in my opinion ...it gets lost in the afterglow of 18 and 19.... GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u
N e r V
Here's some odds and ends I added to my swag yesterday. Some upgrades, one place holder. Thread warning: DO NOT gaze at the next two covers posted if you are looking for zombies or crime covers. Looking at funny animal covers after viewing pre code horror books may lead to damaged eyeballs. These types of books may also cause you to commit cartoon type violence. N e r V
I really need to find a higher grade on that 4 most. Living in So-Cal I surf and it's something pretty rare to see a surfing cover from a comic in the 1940's and by LB Cole to boot! Are these hard to find in grade before I start looking? The lower grades seem cheap and fairly easy to find...

The blue background is pretty cool in person. And a PUNCH #12 is killer in any grade!!! Congrats!!! Looks much better than a 1.8, & white pages too! Dr. Love
Pretty recent pickup from Inaflash as he traded up to Edgar's copy. You can't go wrong with Ken's undercopies. My first and probably only Bugs. 1950's war comics
