I don't know what makes Buck Rogers issues so appealing.  I think the art is unique or original and keeps that early scifi pulp tradition alive.  I like all of them but I haven't got a complete copy of the first issue yet.

Yah, when I first saw this run I was really drawn to it.  It has a real old time feel of what they would have thought is futuristic.  Gorgeous copies, good luck on your hunt for #1!

Hey Jimmers, nice P/U!  That cover illustration comes from a splash page in another Superior book, but I can't remember which.  Go here to see a virgin cover for this book; https://www.comics.org/issue/64881/cover/4/

It appears that the CT is a bell shape, next to the woman's right breast.  Notice that it's blacker than the surrounding shadow.
