Signature Series Trade Discussion Thread June 14-16 2013

I love the trading post, as a newbie to the boards and the hobby (from this perspective) it's great to see what's out there, and what kind of things are of interest.

 

I do have a couple of questions, and hope this is the appropriate place for them.

 

When someone says "trade value" how does that compare to cash value? I ask primarily because in the hockey card trading world it's almost a 2 to 1 factor with trade values being double cash values.

 

Also in general for a trade post like this is it inappropriate to ask if items are also for sale - as a newcomer to this side of the fence I don't have anything substantial to trade....yet

 

Thanks for any input as I learn the ropes over here.

It's good to see trades being made.

 

I've been really adamant about sticking to my focus (SA & BA foreign editions) and over the last 12-18 months pared down my collection to fit that goal. Like I said before, there's some nice offerings this time around and I'm a little bummed that I don't have anything to offer myself. I've only got a couple of books I would even consider parting with but it would take something foreign and key for me to even remotely consider letting them go.
