Calling former CGC Graders - Corner chipped off.

Maybe a 5.5 or a 6.0. I had a book that was a clear 7.5 but with a non-spine corner chip (half dime size) come back a 5.5. Because your book is otherwise an 8.5, it could come back a 6.0.

That is exactly what I am dealing with only it is on the top right (front cover). The book is otherwise 8.0-8.5. I would be happy with a 6.0 on it, which is what Timely was thinking.

 

These seems to be doable given the books from the other link. The page quality might also be a factor, Im tempted to say the PQ is white, but likely graded a OW. Still very good, this to me may push it more towards the 6.0 than a 4.5-5.5.

 

We shall see in a month or two.
