PGM - Fantastic Four 48

This copy is beautiful in hand. (pics are a little blurry - sorry)

 

I would consider this in the 8 - 9 range with great page quality.. except...... the cover is loose from the top staple :frustrated:

 

I was going to sell it, so Im wondering the best grade it can assign with this defect (shrug)

By Overstreet standards, covers popped at one staple could not grade higher than VG-range (as Nick said).

 

By CGC standards, I guess no higher than 6.0 if no other defects are present, as this usually brings down the grade of 2/2.5 units.

 

It is a common defect which can happen with certain SA books, but I HATE it, it happened with my old FF #67 (and I cried!) and I have an Avengers #59 with it.

 

It occurs to me that this could be the only way for me to have a decent copy of this book at a good price… hm (No, I have not the money to buy yours, right now, I was just thinking! :D )
