Recently picked up about 87 issues of DC'sNew 52. Among those included:

Green Lantern 1-10

Detective 1-10

Batman 1-10

Superman 1-10

Wonder Woman 1-10

Flash 1-6

Justice League 1-9

Batman and Robin 1

etc.

 

What would you pay for these, all in NM condition?

Too many variables. Especially with all of the reprints and variants DC threw at consumer during these issues. Assuming everything is a first print and NM- or higher I wouldn't pay more than $75 to $100 and only then if I hadn't read or already owned the issues.

 

I love DC but New52 (Why still call it that after nearly 2 years?) is garbage but then again so are most books and publishers today. Only DC titles worth reading as of right now are Batman (lost a lot of steam after DOTF sucked), Justice League (but only the Shazam back up, the titled story was worthless after issue 6), and Wonder Woman. Green Lantern was ok until Johns left, once that happened they should have canceled every Green Lantern title, as I think it would have been a great place to end the series before killing it with poor talent and bad ideas. Batman and Robin was good and many times better than Batman until GM did his thing over in Inc.

The only n52 book I read is earth 2, and I have enjoyed it so far.

 

 

Na, the Batman and the Detective runs alone could easily get $50 to $75 each.

Yea who knows. Modern books are all over the place. If they are in as good of shape as you say than it would probably be a bit pricey. However, you have to wonder what those books will be worth in a few years. The print run was incredibly high on these books.

Exactly. People paying top dollar for these books are in the "I want it now" crowd.

These books will drop in value just like 99% of other moderns do.

Im gonna assume these books are not in slabbing condition.

 

on ebay

Batman run goes for ~$50

Detective ~$40

 

hopefully you got a Nightwing run, 1-10 goes for ~$70

too bad the Batman & Robin isnt a bigger run, that goes for $50 or so too.

 

most of those other runs average between $1-2/issue

 

So 46 books at $1.50 average, plus the two higher runs worth $90.

 

So If you got them for just over $100 you did well if you are planning to flip them. If you just got them to read, I wouldn't pay more than $1/book, especially with con season coming up and the New 52 should be in everyone's $1 bins, so finding them will be easy.
