A few weeks ago I ran an auction on Ebay for a 4-page Gene Colan pre-hero story - "The Last Stop" from World of Fantasy #10.

 

Steve was the winner of the auction, and IMHO it was a steal.

 

It's now listed on his website, but he split up the 4 pages and he's selling them separately.

 

I have no problem that he got a bargain on the artwork. But if I'd known he was going to split it up, I might have cancelled the sale.

He's won stuff from me and I have seen it at 3X the price... but the stuff he won from me was likely 5 or 6 years ago and still sitting on his site.

Maybe he considers his art pricing model to be like an annuity....."I'll price these to sell in 2020, and these in 2025...."

I would say you are pretty spot on with your range. This cover is not as nice as the last one to sell on Heritage.
