I still don't quite understand CGC's grading of restored books.. that AF15 looks waayy nicer than a 6.0! Can someone explain this? Am I just not seeing some defects?

Why isn't the AF 15 Extensive (A) vs (P). I thought cover reglossing would always put you in the (A) category due to the irreversable nature?

 

I have a Planet 1 that I always figured would get an (A) label due to re-glossing?

I don't think reversability has anything to do with the pro vs. amateur designation. Pros clean books all the time and that's not reversable. It's the quality of the work done on the book that determines P or A.
