Images are not color adjusted, simply cropped. Piece out of front cover, 2 smaller pieces out of back cover, writing on cover in pencil. Cover is solidly attached, book is complete; centerfold attached. PQ = CROW or better with the exposed FC being the darkest; tanning of IFC/IBC consistent with age, but cover not brittle. Staples matted to slight rust, no rust transfer to book or centerfold. Some cover soiling, appears almost as if book was stored inside a newspaper, some transfer of text to cover; PQ inside is better; no odor.

 

My intent is likely to flip this book ahead of WW Chicago, but it is my first Golden Age purchase, so I want to be mindful and take proper steps to grade it well.

Pretty large piece I am thinking 1.5 too.

 

This might give you hope. Though I think general concensus is the grade was poorly considered.
