And what's the premise for Marvel Knights Spider-Man?

I'm not much of a Spider-Man fan and I've been reading it and enjoying it. I'm not sure if that's a double-edged sword (as in long time fans would hate it), but for me its been very, very good so far. As for the premise... it's basically like Amazing with the MK safety net so Millar can make the occasional slightly off color joke. The first three arcs, combined, will tell the story of Aunt May's kidnapping. We're in the middle of the second arc, "Venomous," right now,

Its not fantastic, but its fun. I'm liking Amazing a bit better I think, though, I've only read the first 3 MK books. Will probably wait until I've got the 12 issues before I sit down and enjoy em all at once.
