I really think you should go back to three days.

 

Two of my guys can't seem to make the two day window for their final grade.

 

Why does it take anyone days to grade a comic?

 

If the answer is "They don't log on everyday", my response is, "They should if they are participating in a contest."

I hear ya. My first "gut reaction" is almost always better then a prolonged study of every tiny defect.

It makes sense......mostly. But this weekend I know I wont be logging on at all. The next time I'll see a computer will be Monday morning. Could I log on sometime this weekend? Yea, probably, but I wont. I have plans with the family, not to mention that I work on and or with computers all day every day Mon - Fri.

 

It's not really a problem. My team can make the decision just fine without me. At best I'm doing the same amount of harm as good for them anyway so the outcome should be about the same without me as with.

The problem is the team thing .

As team captain I have to wait for everyone to email me with their grade and mostly they don't agree and the discussion takes time , especially with time zone differeces I live in Europe 5 Hours ahead east coast 8 hours ahead west coast .

No joke Jim, I was suprised when I got this back in this grade, never thought it had a chance . I bought this as a NM- from a very, well, lets just say popular seller on Ebay about 1 1/2 ago. I slabbed it to sell it, hoping to not loose to much, I fianlly got a nice copy from my LCS.

Seriously, i'm starting to debate the value of my entire comic collection with these out of left field grades. Maybe i'm rich and i don't even realize it.
