My favourite board member is Professor Oak. That guy got me through some tough times.

 

Well, I think that's what started the problems on ebay...problems in life tend to spill over. At least that's how I understood it. Regardless he was an interesting personality on the forums.

He was a real good guy to me, so no problems with me. It goes to show people speculating on modern comics, and then trying to sell them on EBay is not a way to earn a living. It`s one thing to supplement your EBay income with a steady paying job, but trying to sell average comics books full-time on EBay will result in small profits at best. Yes, Walking Dead made money, but Walking Dead is the anomaly.

That`s why I give kudos to the LCS and full time comic sellers on EBay who do it for a living. It must be very difficult to keep trying to find new comic book inventory to sell over and over again. It probably will get much worst with the upcoming digital comic book takeover in a few years.

For the most part it`s becoming apparent most comic books were meant to be read for enjoyment, and not slabbed or put in a plastic bag hoping to become rich off it.
