See, here is where I get some learning (or maybe having it in your hands is different than looking at scans) because this one is beat up on the outside but nice on the inside. Certainly nicer than the DD 9 I put up I think. But these grades have been helpful, thanks!

I don't think it's that low of grade. It's read, yes, but looks structurally sound and is a silver age book still - i'd go with 5.0/5.5
