Can you believe all CGC staffs left many unused boxes, three high stacks of invoices and many brochures and printed papers on the booth?

 

Damned I missed to pick up my 6 graded books that were shipped back to Florida. I don't know damned grades on those books not even on my order status.

 

Actually, I was the one who stacked up the unused boxes, after CGC cleared out, and I know for a fact they were for a big Chicago dealer who took them and some of the invoices as well. The brochures and printed paper, well, I assume the shipping cost home is higher than their value and sadly, they do overship brochures sometime. But trust me, any extra boxes or bubble wrap always finds a good home.

 

I was not happy with the split rooms, but it was MUCH better than last year, as I was living on those broken escalators all weekend. (CGC was upstairs, all the artists except Neal Adams were downstairs) In the old days, it was one long L shaped room. Hopefully next year it can return to that. By the time I could go shopping, it was late Thursday or Friday, but by the end of the weekend I found a few so-so deals. For me, the weekend was all about grades.

 

And Joe, you looked sharp in that suit. Don't let anyone tell ya different. Hope the drive home went ok for ya.

I thought the ties were totally appropriate for the venue. Where else but a comic book convention would you wear a Spider-Man tie? I liked 'em.
