I walked by Ed's booth just as he was lecturing some 13 year old on Bob McLeod or some such.

So the intimation that GC might have a bunch of Valiant books that were previously thought to be limited to either 100 or 200 is the big reveal.

Not at all. The VALIANT people (myself included) were upset that this big-name dealer might have something to do with a "rug being pulled out from under them" by taking VALIANT-named characters and doing something totally different (and to us, wrong) with them.

 

"We" don't support people who do such things. It wasn't the limited "comic" not being limited, it was a perception of underhanded-ness that turned off some people to him.

 

Like I said, the whole story is on the VF.com site. The whole story has not been shed here.
