Delivery information not updated?

This was a two day delivered service with signature confirmation.

Apt / PO Box?

Give it till Monday evening. Do not contact buyer if sold via ebay. "Don't poke the bear" and give him the idea he can get something for free via ebay loopholes.

You can always call the PO for that zip code. And a couple other things...

Fill these two forms out. A human being will have to actually investigate if package was delivered and update the status of package, if delivered already. It's happened to me. I didn't bother to call, just filled these out. A week later I received confirmation. It was an APT however, so he might have taken a week to pick up package. Who knows.

Arrggghhh! USPS said they don't know where the book is :(

Because it's Saturday. Never expect competence on a Saturday..... anywhere.

Do you think theft is a possibility?

I have had failures to scan before but that has always been when leaving a facility not upon delivery.

Like others have said, probably at PO waiting to be signed for. Mailman might have left one of those cards to be filled out that requests re-delivery or telling recipient to pick it up. Card maybe was mis-placed, not noticed by buyer. Buyer went on vacation, etc, etc. Monday will be a week since attempted delivery. Try calling PO on Monday. If you haven't heard from your buyer by now, then no need to worry yet.

************ Fill out those two forms I linked. You will leave most of the fields blank (suspect info) for the https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MLNtRcvd.aspx

Make sure to fill in tracking # field and write a description of complaint at bottom of form.

The other form for tracking status email updates should always be filled out for sig. confirmations. You will be emailed a PDF (when delivered) file of the buyer's signature on the USPS form when delivered. Save those PDF files to your computer in case of possible shenanigans (chargebacks) several months down the road.

Hope this helps. Let us know when you finally get DC. :)
