PGM Wolverine #1 First Series UPDATED SCANS

Can I please get a little help grading my Wolverine #1 First Series? The book is flat and complete. No creases, stresses, chips or missing pages or pieces that I can see. I am hoping it will grade at the very least 9.6? What do you think?

I think you'll get that 9.6 you want. I see at least 3 very tiny color breaking spine tics just below the price box that make 9.8 unlikely. But you never know. I just don't see this getting 9.4 unless there are things going on that the scans don't show.

Thanks for the input. There are absolutely no spine tics or colour breaks, so it must be a scanning anomaly. But I'm glad to know that you believe it to be 9.6 with the "tics". Cheers!

Maybe it's part of the art. 9.8 wouldn't shock, but I normally don't offer that grade unless the scans are huge. Fantastic copy, regardless

9.8 is certainly possible, but I still feel 9.6

Whats up with the top right corner? why all that white? is that part of the color or just the pages showing?

Almost looks like a sheet of paper is placed within the covers or pages.
