Yeah, it was OK as first issues go...basically the same beginning as the original (kids on bus) but will deviate from there. The writers explain in a section what they want to do with the new series. Not bad overall, I will give it my usual 3 issue trial befor I decide if it's a (crypt) keeper or not!

Hi! hi.gif Anyone remember Modern Horror?

These books have decent stories and art that follow along the lines of the movies pretty much. These books also come with variant covers...these, of course, are the gore covers! cool.gif

news.gif Fans of Horror and fans of Simpsons unite!

This latest issue of Treehouse of Horror is a real treat! First off it's a recreation of EC's Tales From The Crypt # 41

and has art and stories by some of the all time greats in comics (and horror).

The back flip cover is just as great!

But I have to say the real treat for me was the teaming up of Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson for an unforgetable

re-telling/re-make of the Swamp Thing story from HoS # 92...Squish Thing! 27_laughing.gif

I like Little Gloomy...yes I admit it, I find the characters fun and witty!

Scary Godmother is another book I like also that I don't usually stand up and admit but its a fun and clever read also...but I digress...

A really fun b/w book!
