Fanboys need to understand that movie studios don't make superhero films just for them.

They're making them for general audiences (fanboys are in the minority)

And they're not going to listen to fanboys about casting.

 

And stop saying "I'm not going to see it" we all know you're going to see it anyway.

This is very true.

 

It's very relevant when talking about changes to the source material, choices on inclusion/exclusion, etc.

 

But when talking about something as basic as casting, first of all, they should listen to the people that know the characters best. Moreover, if you handed somebody from the "general population" a sample of the comics involving these characters, they would have the same reaction regarding the poor casting: "What the :censored: were they thinking?"
