Batman: The Deal - fan-made comic

Now that I'm forced to work for a living in a cruel and meaningless world of illusion, I recall that there were several really good looking girls in my Philosophy 101 class. Maybe if I'd have paid more attention to the subject matter, and less to the ladies, I'd have a deeper appreciation for sophistry...

Here is a great comment from the user Lave:

RE: The end of the bill hicks quote.

Batman spent all his vast wealth on defence. A equal passion for improving Gotham as he had for clearing up after Gotham would have solved all Gothams problems. A comedian telling Batman that as he falls to his death above an ultimately unchanged Gotham is a perfect quote.

Of course it's the elephant in the room in the genuine comic because nothing can really change.

I was already biased reading this comment; I thought The Deal was great.

Anyone who didn't like it, does the comment affect your opinion?

I'm not sure. But I do know that my neighbors have a defence to keep their dog from pooping in my yard, for which I am grateful. Does that count?

No because it still does not explain why batman voluntarily decided to die. What was the malarky about being husband and wife? That does not gel with the Hicks quote.
