X-Men #1 CGC 1.8 from the collection of Janis Ian SOLD

This book has recently been graded by CGC at 1.8 CR/OW Universal. It is low grade but a Marvel key.

 

This book's original owner is Grammy winner Janis Ian.

 

The label states "from the collection of Janis Ian" if you like that kind of thing.

 

This was the only book she had worth grading IMO. The rest will be sold off at a charity auction soon.

 

Per GPA, there have been 8 sales of this book in this grade this year, low was $824 and high was $1200.

 

If you live in the U.S., you can own this book for $1050 OBO plus $18 for insured boxed priority shipping.

Any other time in the year and it would be on like donkey kong. This is really a very neat piece of Americana and a cool book.

I received several emails asking what payment terms are available on this book. The answer is I don't know as it is not my book. If you wish to PM me with offer/terms I will take them to Janis.

Spoke to Janis, she will do a limited time payment schedule because of the holidays, full payment within 30 days or maybe a little bit more. Must make a non refundable down payment to hold the book of at least $250.
