Here is a link to Joey Post's home page for the pressing service he provides. Review the information provided and it should help you in determining whether or not pressing will be of any benefit to your book.

 

Most importantly do any of the creases (spine stresses) break colour? If they do then pressing will not be beneficial. Also is the value of the book enough that spending the cost on pressing is going to increase the value of the book enough to recoup the pressing costs (maybe over time?)

 

It truly comes down to personal preference I would say. But read, review and research before you do anything more!
