As to getting it slabbed or not is a personal preference. It has it's benefits and draw backs. If you intend on keeping the book for your personal pleasure then get it graded and display it, unless you want to take it out and read it or handle it now and then! If you intend on selling it you would slab it to ensure proper grading and get the most bang for your buck that you want out of it but only if there is enough value in the book to recoup the cost of slabbing it!
