PGM: Buck Duck (Atlas 1953) #4

6 posts in this topic

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

This is a very tight copy with OW pages that I've had in my collection for awhile.

Front:

Corners sharpe with a color breaking crease top front right.

Bottom staple has wrinkles but is attached securely

Several nics along spine

Foxing along edges

Back:

Very nice with some obvious foxing around edges and a printers crease top left corner about an inch from the top running diag/horzontally.

This book looks great for 60 years old! The staples look almost new! Are they the original staples? (I have to ask because they look so pristine!)

Thanks for the comments! To answer your question, yes the staples are the originals. I picked this up at an estate auction years ago with some other gems that I've sold long ago. All the comics were in about the same condition but had some serious foxing like this issue has.
