I was thinking more like Heroes Reborn FF #1 at that price.

I placed an order for TTA 64 9.4 that they had listed for $5 a couple of years ago.

The minimum order was $20 for shipping so I placed an order for a $15 book to meet their minimum requirements.

They got back to me 'no way are we selling you that book for $5'

And they demanded I pay for $15 book

I replied that's against your rules as there is a minimum $20 order

So they placed a black mark against me as a no paying bidder.

What a bunch of smucks

In Australia I could go to fair trading and give them a warning for false advertising. But alas comic link are not an Australian company.

All they do is sell comics and art so you would think they would have better people listing prices on their web site and double checking the price before they hit the list button. :eyeroll:

Ha - reminds me of ordering something on Stubhub once

If I have nothing to do the day of a Yankee game, I will look at stubhub and see if there are any steals to be had. As the time gets closer to the game the price of tickets go down, sometimes to $2-5 a ticket. In fact I have found $10 seats right before game time that would normally cost $100 each.

So Phish at MSG for a night I did not have a ticket back in 2010. I bought a pair of tickets for $17 each two hours before the show. I paid for them and everything. I then got a call from Stubhub about 45 minutes later telling me that they were going to cancel my order since the tickets were erroneously listed at that price.

WHAT!?

Doesn't Stubhub have some guarantee? Only if the sale is approved apparently.

No tickets for that show for me that time apparently.

Reminds me of this:

There is always the chance that bad press could compel them? Take it to bleedingcool!

It was for the 2010 run at MSG... doubt they care at that point. I didn't scream, I did not shout. I argued to the point that the guy had no recourse but to hang up on me. I called back and kept arriving at the same answer.

Have I used Stub Hub since? I would be lying if I said 'no'. They are still the safest game in town. However, at the end of the day... apparently there is a point where they are just like everyone else.
