Bagley Venom.

 

Wasn't really fan of Bagley's art till he went to Ultimate Spider-man & that glossy paper stock.

 

For me he was doomed cause my first Spider-man issues was the MacFarlane run then Larsen (who kept the TMc art style somewhat) then to Bagley which was a total 180.

 

I liked Bagley a lot better on Ultimate than ASM too. It is hard to beat McFarlane who to me, is one of the all time greats.

the Ultimate Spider-man covers are disgusting looking. Looks like a god damned video game

 

I loved those books. My kids got into comics reading those. The covers are for their generation imo.

Man, I loved Bagley....

More cartoony for sure, but I was really into Spidey during that time, then all through the Ultimate series.

 

McFarlane is in a league if his own, obviously.

 

Larson, I wasn't a huge fan of. No idea why not.
