So you couldn't get much at the sdcc that year? Lots of  "You need something?" "No thanks, just looking" that year I guess. Suspense 8 has had a hard to predict wheelhouse the past 3 years. 3.0 to 4.0 are still affordable. I got mine on Clink, got a pretty good deal.

Oh no, always looking. Just looking for specific stuff. The kind of stuff you often have to get lucky to find. At this point, I am a pretty advanced GA collector so it's gotten harder and harder.

Here is my humble copy. I thought it was a little stiff at the time but now days it's fast food lunch money...

By the way, love your avatar picture. One of my favorite crime books!

Oh an 8.0! Let me check. Yep highest graded. Could be the best surviving copy. The victim looks a little like Bob Newhart to me. Funny funny man. From Illinois. I've seen lots of the stuff you've showed over the years, advanced is an understatement. Lunch money, yep,  I want this comic but it's like 100 bucks.

Yeah, it does resemble him.  I think this book beat it by a year, it was on TCM the other day actually!

Holy cow I had no idea he passed the day I wrote that. I honestly thought he died a few years ago. I just saw on wikipedia a minute ago. I am the king of bad timing.

Kind of looks like "Metal hair dude" was used on this cover too

He was used in an interior somewhere weird too, I forget where...
