The Frazetta Jongor covers are great, and I have Jongor Fights Back, but I have to admit that in this case the pulp versions came with covers transcendentally triumphant. Legend has it that Oct 1940 was to be the last ish, but St.J's cov sold like hotcakes and the mag continued for a few decades...

Most of the longer digest series like Venus, Cameo etc reprinted later in the series. A few others reprinted in a separate series (Star for Original Novels and Intimate (or Stallion?) for UniBooks I believe.) In most instances the 1st is the one to get although I gladly pick up the reprints if the price/condition crux is right.

I love it, SA!  It's funny you should mention the later imprints as I just picked up one of those from Greg at Dreamhaven and he brought up the same.  I'll post what I picked up later but it was very fruitful!

 Ha, I just bought a vintage western and was sorely disappointed with it. Advertised as a VG minus, but it can’t be any better than good.  There was writing on the back of it that was covered with a sticky note the same color as the book!  I bought it because the art was done by Boris Vallejo. And because I’m waiting for Delivery on this prelim.

I picked this book up about 5 years ago. It contains an enormous amount of detail on sea serpents.  The research performed to write this book was quite staggering, as the author spent 10 years in libraries around the world seeking out stories of sea monsters. The results varied from mythical, to the possible, the probable, and those documented to be a certainty.  Quite possibly nothing messed with the Archelon turtle.

Well, here we go.  I'm not going to post all the books I picked up, just the gems.  All digests, all the time!  My favorite of the bunch by far, is Joy Ride!

And last but not least, the later print of Sinners Club published under Star Novels.  These teens are doing stuff they're not supposed to be doing!

This plastic container has been part of my solution to PB overflow. I hope to replace this soon with the type of storage box used by Surfing Alien.

Please stay away from the Digests, they're unhealthy for your morals and wallet 

Great selection - The Dream Club is actually a second print as well although a fantastic one because it's a different and somewhat cooler title than the original, Beyond Desire, which moonpool recently posted. Beyond Desire is definitely a tougher find though and moonpool's copy is drool worthy.

Anyone have recommendations for a high quality bag that still has good spine visibility?

I've found these BCW polypropylene bags to be the clearest and quite sturdy. They make digest size as well

Bags Unlimited has digest sleeves in slightly different sizes - poly resealable

I prefer Clearbags.com

 

 

and I like to back them as well, but that's just me.
