What is inside the 1945 Superman Workbook?

I have always wondered what is inside this workbook. Is it all reprints or is there something else? Since it is a workbook, I was wondering if it had games and puzzles in it. I have only seen 2 for sale and they were both too costly for me. Anybody that knows something about this book, please tell me what is inside. I am curious. Thanx

I had a copy of this along with the US Navy Action reprints, but it was a long time ago. If my memory is correct it was an attempt by the US government during WW II to help illiterate draftees to learn to read. So there would be images of Superman in action, and the soldier was to explain what is happening and to put this down in their own words. The US Navy versions are different in that the dialog in these issues was "dumbed down."

 

I wish I still had them...

Thanx Moondog! I have one US navy book. Just off the top of my head I think it is Superman 33. Finding that workbook is tough!!!!!!!

I got mine from Sol Harrison with my first batch of ashcans. Very cool stuff. And VERY rare.

 

Weren't there 4 different Navy books? Actions and Supermans?

Superman 34, & Action 84.
