This one doesn't look too bad, except for the bottom staple - what is that called? Only appears to be attached to the centerfold, perhaps one other page.

Most around here call that bottom staple situation a "blown staple." As defects go, it's a biggie.

 

The number of pages not attached there will affect the grade.

 

I'd call this a 3.5, at a guess.
