That was a tough choice, as both men have added a lot to the medium.

 

In the end I went with Miller because he's a writer, an artist, and an outspoken advocate for advancing the medium. And he's not a virtual recluse.

Execellent points Kevin. I admit I was strictly looking at the choice from a "comics read" perspective. I did not jump out of that box and look at the big picture. One could definitely make a case for Miller being better for the medium since he is more approachable.

I voted for Miller. His redefining of Batman is certianly more important than Moore's redefinition of the genre.
