Batman #150 - Help with grade

5 posts in this topic

Whats up with the middle part of the spine? Is that some type of "chew"? If it is, i have no clue, but a very low grade. If it isnt, maybe 4.5 5.0. This is a guess as I dont really look at anything below vf. Not craking on your book, just saying cause im a silver/bronze dude. thumbsup2.gif

I agree, it could be a solid VF 4.0, but any additional wear at the center of the spine or on the BC, which we can't see, could drop it as low as a GD 2.0 - we'll need a description and a scan of the BC sumo.gif

Um, last time I checked, this was a Silver Age book? makepoint.gif

Assuming that mid-spine issue is not an actual defect, I'd say this looks like a VG+ 4.5 to me. Simply too many creases, too much wear and staining...

If that spine "thing" is in fact some sort of defect (wear, tear, etc.) I'd drop by guesstimate to around 3.0
