the dollar bin at several LCS:

Adv of Superman 497

Captain America 360

Man of Steel 17-19

Superman 74-75

JLA 69

X-Factor 24

Thanks to everyone in the Copper Forum for their

Dreamwalker 0 is my all-time favorite book to find in the wild (for cheap). So far, I have found three of them (one was $1, the other two were $3 a piece); but that was three years ago. Haven't found one since.

My best score this year was an Uncanny X-Men 297 (Pressman Variant)......for $1 !!!!! :cloud9:

Ah yes, someone else looking for a list of stuff to go and look for..

I don't need a list

I know what to look for. The comic shops around sacramento keep up on trends for the most part. I won't be finding any MOS #18 for $1 One of those in NM would set me back $10 but the shops are all sold out.

I was just wondering what cool books people still find for dirt cheap

I remember when NM #87 & #98 were in the .50 box tons of NM copies

Wish I had kept the few copies I used to have doh!

Your original post asked what WE could find dirt cheap, not what YOU could find.

If Sacramento shops are well up on the copper trends then I suggest that you go

on a buying trip elsewhere. Try the midwest -- we are not subject to trends

of any kind. lol

I was asking a general question :baiting:

Yeah I do need to find other shops to go to

I buy most of my books online. The shops around town are hit and miss

Yeah I was being kind of an -- sorry.

We are blessed here in the midwest with many shops that just don't

keep up on the hot back issues so I've been really lucky lately. But

I was serious about taking some road trips. What I learned from

watching American Pickers is that anything can be anywhere, but

you may have to work a little harder to find it.

Yesterday I found the following in NM for $1 apiece at a single LCS,

the Superman titles were 50 cents:

Adv of Superman 500

Supergirl 1

Superman 1

Superman 75 (3 copies)

Man of Steel 19

Thor 337

Thor 411

Thor 412

Uncanny X-men 282

Silver Surfer 1 (1987 series)

War of the Gods 1

It has been a great month comic-picking.
