Back cover has some none color breaking waves and a impacted corner. Front cover has a none color breaking bend. I'm thinking its a good candidate for a press what say you?

I am not sure about a press for this book. It would be best to contact Joey Post and let him weigh in as he is the expert.

This is a book that I would rather have in hand before I guessed to press or not!

Those thicker books can surprise you some times with grades probably a 6.5

I think I would press it myself, just to see If you could get those creases out. That would definitely bump up the grade. Good luck!

The front and back cover crease is color breaking. You cant press out color breaking creases. Its a 7.0 at best after a press

Based on mid-grade books that CGC has been sending back to me, this book is no worse than a 6.5 now. A press should take it up to 7.0 ... possibly (but not over) 7.5.

 

Color-breaking creases alone don't take a book out of 7.5 land; it depends on how obstrusive and long the crease is. The creases I'm seeing here, if pressed out, should only show some minor color breaks.
