Picked up this, and a #2, at my LCS yesterday.

 

What looks like a bend in the ULFC is just a shift in the color. Slight spine roll. Some wear along spine. Interior looks fresh and off the shelves.

I think there are too many spine stresses to allow anything higher than 9.4 IMHO! Nice looking copy David!

Yep, it is a modern. The production quality of these books allows for less of these kind and severity of defects in higher grades. I'll go 9.2.

When I first looked at it thought 9.2 maybe 9.4

Thanks, all. I was thinking 9.2 as well. They had a 2nd copy at the same cost, but it was clearly in rougher shape, largely due to one corner being fairly well scuffed up. I don't know if I'll bother with a press on this one, but it would probably squeeze another step out of the grade.
