Is this the most overgraded cgc 9.4 ever?

It's not horrible but way too many spine stress marks for that grade.

I say 8.5

Having an 8.5 sitting in a 9.4 case is pretty horrible IMO.

Not if it's your book.... :insane:

One can only hope that they are scratches on the slab.

I blew up the scan, and while blurry, I believe what looks like spine ticks could be case scratches or scanner marks. At least two of them go out past the spine. :shrug:

 

Maybe someone could msg them for clarification. It seems odd all those other 'scratches' end precisely where the edge of the book is.

yeah, but you can't equate pgx to cgc, no matter what failings cgc has had, they'll never ever dever gever ever be as bad as that thing.
