PGM: X-Factor 6 (Tax Stamp?)

I recently picked up this book here in Michigan and it has what appears to be a rubber stamp marked "TAX". Has anyone seen this before? I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

The copy is a news stand edition. I`m thinking it was marked with the `TAX` stamp so that the person running the cash register was aware that it was taxable in your state? Sound reasonable?

It's very difficult to tell what is going on with the spine due to the smaller size images. It's best to run your scanner at 300 to 600 dpi for best results and larger scans - easier to tell what is going on with your book!

My best guess is 8.5 IMHO!

There is a small crease on the top right corner on FC.

 

Few stress marks on the spine too.

 

8.5 for sure.
