I don't like the water, or what appears to be a tape pull over top of the water stain. Conservatively, 4.0, but could look more like a 4.5 in-hand.

Can you give a little more information as to the damage going on with the LRHC back cover? It looks like a tear to me?

On that basis I will say 3.0 IMHO! But a better looking cover and a great book to own!

It's not a tear, it's basically a tape pull, but looks like it was caused by a fluid that it stuck to. Looks like syrup.

No, what you see on the lower part of the pull is a paper flap. I have since flipped it back.

Well, looking at it again and with a clearer understanding of the "Syrup-Pull-Flap" scenario, I can see this getting a 5.0 - but I would not go any higher than that.
