Ha. That's exactly how much I have to pay. Negotiated from $65K to $50K so was pretty stoked about that. Put down $12K last week and another $18K due next week and the rest due over the next month or two.

Pardon my interruption. But what kind of horse sells for 50K, besides a thoroughbred race horse? A Clydesdale?

The one I am buying is a Level 4 Dressage Horse who is also a good jumper and is probably a grand prix candidate. It's probably closer to a $75K horse at the moment but since it's my wifes trainers horse and the trainer still wants to keep the horse in the barn deep down I got a deal on it. New to the whole horsing world but I see horses for ,150K-300K on line all the time. It's nuts because I will never see that money back.
