I'm very pleased with #1. Sometimes a little creepy is needed to balance out all the men in tights. Thought it was very well executed and love the colors.

I finally got mine in from Midtown... Liked the first issue a lot, wasn't sure what to expect. I liked it, creepy yet with some nice bad-assery

Got a chance to read this today. Very cool book. I didn't like it as much as The Life After (as far as recent #1s go), but it was a cool issue.

 

Reminds me of The Thing movie. Kept waiting for Kurt Russel to show up with a flame thrower.

I totally agree! It had a lot of elements borrowed from John Carpenters The thing. Not a bad thing (no pun intended) Very good read, I will be following the series for sure.

Yea, that is nuts. I've been looking forward to this series for a very long time, but somehow these convention teasers never popped up on my radar. Doesn't look like I'll end up with any following the current trend.
