PGM - Secret Wars #8 *CGC Grade is in*

First just because I had seen everyone else do it... what does PGM stand for?

 

Second here is the book I am thinking about sending in. Was wondering what grade as is and if it was even worthy of being pressed?

Yup, PGM would stand for "Please Grade My..."

 

I would say your SW8 is a nice copy, 9.0/9.2. Not the easiest to tell from a flat scan, but I don't think your book would benefit much from a press because the spine ticks break color. A CGC 9.2 of Secret Wars 8 sells for about $55 so aside from personal archival purposes, it doesn't make too much sense to send it in.

Thanks everyone! Kind of suprised at the 9.0 estimates... I was thinking 8.0 to a 7.5 myself... That bottom right corner has me worried too. This is going to be my first book I submit and it doesn't sound like it is a good canidate for pressing... I'll post the final results when I get it back...

I couldn't help it I had to peak... It was shipped out today and it got a grade of 9.0. Alot of you where spot on... thanks again!

 

Was the book pressed?
