This one looks really nice in hand, with crisp pages. The only thing I can see is the top right corner on the front cover has the corner missing from the first 8 pages. Would this be considered a production flaw, because there's no way the book left the cutter with that corner.

From my (very amateur) analysis, I can see two beat up corners, a mis-cut top and chipping at the bottom. The whole from cover just looks...turned a few degrees.

Front Cover:

About 5 minor spine tics visible

TLHC bindery tear

TRHC bindery defect IMHO

LLHC slightly abraded

 

Back Cover:

3 spine tics visible here

TLHC slightly blunted

TRHC (bindery tear from front cover is slightly visible)

LLHC is just turned down IMHO

LRHC slightly abraded (same front corner)

LHS edge wear due to overhang

 

Overall this copy presents very well. But the grade is comparable to CGC graded copies IMHO!

 

Hope this isn't too far from what you were expecting. Just remember that the real grade that counts is the one you get from CGC!
