Then I got to explain why because my wife heard me! You know me, always the one with the good joke that nobody gets... BUT, it was my opening line to Eugene, not Al...Al is the one I bought the Fan club Kit from...and that is how I found Eugene... Let's get it straight... Fun to still see the occasional "Paul" books turn up once in a while. I like that one. Bacillus never looked better...

Cool!! It's actually the line that later became Tales From the Crypt. atomic1950s

Sqeggs
Purchased raw from a boardie who has shown a mild interest in ECs from time to time. Kind of surprised to see that there are only eight copies on the census. Edited October 16, 2017 by Sqeggs Forgot to give the number of copies! Robot Man
These turned up today while digging through the junk pile. I used to have Bill Gaines' card too, but gave it to a great friend... jimjum12 and creaturefan95
Sqeggs
Also posted in the fewer than 10 copies in the census thread. Wonder how many ECs have fewer than 10 copies on the census? @edowens71 must know!

OtherEric
Picked this up today. Not a title you see very often at all compared to the other New Trend/ New Direction books. As near as I can tell, it was cancelled shortly before they pulled the plug on everything but MAD rather than as part of the mass cancellations. Which, fair enough. This remains one of the most bonkers concepts for a comic book ever. szucchini, jimjum12 and torontodesignguy

It's not without some offbeat charm though. torontodesignguy and szucchini

It's not without some offbeat charm though. They were desperate for safe concepts for books. Jack Kaman was as good an artist at showing subtle details of what people are thinking and feeling as there has ever been. (I can't imagine the book with any other artist.). And if you want to do psychological drama, it's practically right there in the title. Other than being a obviously horrible idea, it wasn't a horrible idea.
