Looking for the Curator Copy of TOS 57 9.2!!

Can anybody out there help me locate a CGC certified 9.2, Curator copy of Tales of Suspense #57? A buddy of mine, who collects Curators and is trying to put the TOS run back together, is trying to find this copy and will pay many multiples of guide for it.

Thanks to all and this type of chase, I believe, is at the very heart of our hobby. At least it helps explain why pedigrees get so much publicity, etc. (nothing like having a run of books from the same stack/store/pantry/closet, etc.).

I believe that copy sold on Ebay almost 2 years ago for $850. CGC 9.2 with White pages but I don't recall the buyers name. Two weeks later I purchase my CGC 9.2 OW pages for $750 from Ebay and that is why I remember the Curator copy being sold.

did u buy ur copy form jkc313 ? if it was u who bought jkc313's copy that copy i beleive should have been a 9.4

I remember that as well, and if it's the same one I'm thinking of, it WAS Ewert who sold it. That was around the time he was first starting out on eBay and his first batch came under scrutiny by forum members.

I did buy my copy from jkc313 and it is nicer than a 9.2 in my opinion.

that was a great buy, thatd be a $1200-1400 book now

 

u may want to resub it, it sure looked like a 9.4 to me......was graded very early on in cgc days
