Describe The Cover No Pics

Sorry, but that's not it.

It is not a Sword and Sorcery book.

I was worried about that. With this game, you could meet all the criteria and still not be right.

A man and a woman, swords drawn OK

Backed up against a wall

Not quite

Awaiting the onslaught of many armored warriors OK

Hopelessly outnumbered, is this the end?

I was hoping somebody would notice "THE END?" which is the title of the story and on the cover.

One will eventually die, but that’s another story.

Neither Conan or Red Sonja died in the Conan comics.

I know those are technical points, but I try to be precise. Yours was a good guess, but didn't quite meet all the criteria. Maybe some of the clues I gave were too vague? (shrug)

If you meet the criteria you should get the points and poster should get -2

In this case however neither sonja nor conan later died

"In 2008, the original Red Sonja character met her apparent death in Red Sonja #34, and journeyed through the underworld while contemplating her life and destiny."

I don't make mistakes like that.

I'll split the points with you if the OP permits it.

You keep the points -- I would argue that "is this the end." was where your answer was more apt, and you obviously earned it -- I'm getting the hang of how this works. I was just making a statement about possible conflicts. No need to ruffle any feathers here. (thumbs u

If I join, everyone would soon depart anyways. :sorry:

It really didn't meet clue #3 "Awaiting the onslaught of many armored warriors"

-as they were already in the middle of a fight-

Pretty sure others (including me) would have suggested that cover as well, if not for that.

-Just my opinion.

make sure the new rule is in effect-if guesses match clues you get points regardless.

A wrong guess is a wrong guess

Lets not over complicate this

I guess this has already been addressed by the OP

OK, fair enough.

Hang around, bronze_rules!

Yes, the more the merrier!

This is just supposed to be a fun game, thanks to the OP, not concerned with winning, just playing and seeing some neat comic book covers!

Ok, gang --

-- Hitler

-- Churchill

-- Roosevelt

-- Mussolini

-- Stalin

I get the feeling GATOR might know this one!

I thought I did, but I was wrong. Plenty of comics with combinations of these guys, but I can't find one with all of them.

The three allied leaders must be a Yalta Conference thing... hm
