Buffalo ComicCon Report - June 2014

This show is usually a poorly advertised, unorganized mess. A couple of years ago it held next to an indoor swimming pool.

 

 

Is that the year you ended up in the pool by mistake?

For this show, by Buffalo standards it was well attended. A younger crowd that was about 20% female.

 

Post-1980 books were in demand as were Indies.

 

There was some chatter about CBCS.

A meager artists alley was setup.

Is that dude in costume or was he naturally scary looking?

 

She looks pretty frightened, and I thought that's how most of us comic geeks looked like. The thought of him in costume hadn't crossed my mind.
