Comic Mailers comparison

I am about to make a large bulk order of one of these two mailers and was wondering if anyone had any experience with either?

I've used these

with great success.

The affinity ones you linked yo are $0.67 each and hold up to 12 comics.

The bags unlimited boxes, are $.075 each in quantities of $100 (cheaper on larger orders) hold up to 14, but the size and shape of the box allows them to fit into the padded flat rate priority envelope allowing you to ship priority at the very minimum cost they offer for the service. So they might wind up being cheaper with the shipping savings factored in.

The combination of the box and the padded priority envelope makes for a very secure package.

I've used these before. Did not like them at all. The boxes just felt too flimsy for me.

I've used these flatter mailers too, the structure of the box inside the padded priority envelope felt much more secure to me than the flatter mailer inside a paper or kraft envelope. I just can't bring myself to mail comics in a flat envelope.

I use Affinity's. Love them. Easy fold and fit well in a Priority legal envelope.

Haven't tried Diamond's. Diamond's looks like it will hold quite a bit more.

I use Affinity's as well. So far so good.

Have you ever used the pre cut cardboard sheets? What's your experience with those if you have?

Yes, I've used those. For my own piece of mind in shipping I ordered the filler pads that are offered along with the boxes. They fit inside the boxes perfectly and really up the security, especially when shipping only 4-5 books.

I think I'll try some out, I'm tired of cutting my own cardboard sheets. Thanks for the 411.

I've decided to go with a couple a different U-Line mailers: The S-273 plus S-274 for larger orders. Has anyone else used these?

My books will always be sandwiched between corrugated cardboard pads.

U-Line will send samples. Just give them a call. I got the samples in one business day.

S342 is about the right length and width for great protection.

+1

You can also snuggly squeeze three of those boxes inside a medium flat-rate "cube" box.
